Volunteers must have an active account with AARP.org to access the New Volunteer Portal. A few important notes: Registering at AARP.org is only the first step of two steps in being able to access the New Volunteer Portal.
The AARP Volunteer Portal is an online platform that supports the work of committed volunteers across AARP's volunteer programs. This interactive hub allows volunteers to engage fully with AARP staff and other volunteers from the comfort of their home or the convenience of their office by providing a one-stop shop for getting everything done.
The Volunteer Portal - which launched in 2015 and has been utilized by more than 45000 volunteers and 500 staff members - is undergoing a two-phase "facelift" in 2019. The change will result in fewer clicks increased functionality and easier access to the information volunteers and staff use every day!
1. Log on to the Volunteer portal at https://volunteers.aarp.org. If you're a New User and need to register your Profile click on the "Register Now" link on the Portal homepage. For subsequent visits you will use the "Registered Already?" link.
